Clynelish’s mid-1990s output is swiftly attaining legendary status, with the 1995 and 1997 vintages considered the finest. This sherried edition is set to dazzle as a true standout.

 

NOSE

The nose unfolds with layers of dried figs, raisins, and dates, all wrapped in dark chocolate, polished leather, and sweet sherry. Hints of beeswax, orange peel, and a whisper of smokiness provide depth, reflecting the whisky’s long maturation in Oloroso sherry cask.

PALATE

A prominent sweet sherry influence brings forth sultanas, toffee, and rich fruitcake, balanced by notes of dark cocoa, cinnamon, and clove. Full-bodied and velvety smooth, Clynelish’s signature oily mouthfeel beautifully complements the sherry richness.

FINISH

Long and warming, with lingering notes of dried fruits, sherry sweetness, and gentle spice, it concludes with delicate smoke and oakiness.
