Independent bottler Decadent Drinks presents this rare gem from the now-closed Caroni distillery under its Rum Sponge brand, with only 243 bottles available. Distilled in 1998, this rum spent 15 years maturing in the tropical heat of Trinidad and Tobago before finishing its aging in the UK. Rich in the iconic hydrocarbon notes that define this legendary rum, this dram surprises with bursts of fruit, chocolate, spice, and even florals, offering a refreshing experience in every sip.

NOSE

Bold diesel and tobacco aromas dominate the nose, gradually unfolding into fruity, woody, and roasted notes.

PALATE

The bold character from the nose carries through, layered with fruity mango, chocolate, and spice, along with subtle hints of floral and vanilla. The mid-palate highlights the Caroni style with its signature hydrocarbons.

FINISH

Initially tarry and ashy, with floral and mineral notes in the aftertaste.
