Hibiki, meaning “harmony” in Japanese, was created in 1989 to honor Suntory’s 90th anniversary. Since then, it has become a celebrated icon of The Art of Japanese Whisky, embodying the essence of Japanese nature and craftsmanship. Hibiki is a harmonious blend of malt and grain whiskies from three renowned distilleries – Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita – meticulously crafted to deliver a symphony of flavors and aromas. With unprecedented demand for Japanese whiskies leading to the discontinuation of most age statements, many aged expressions have sadly been retired from the Hibiki portfolio, including the award-winning Hibiki 17-year-old.

A rare find that’s hard to keep in stock, this version of Hibiki 17-year-old marks the final release before 2000. Known as “Double Gold,” it features gold labels on both the front and back of the bottle, setting it apart from today’s Hibiki packaging.
