This 4-year-old expression was aged in Chichibu’s quarter casks known as Chibidaru, Japanese for ‘cute casks’. These hogsheads are smaller in size than standard casks, which enhances spirit-wood interaction and accelerates the release of flavors. Bold flavors of fruit, vanilla, and Christmas cake are just a few of the vibrant layers in this whisky. Distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2014, only 6200 bottles were produced.
