Chichibu’s London Edition series celebrates the relationship between Japan and the United Kingdom, and this 2022 release marks the fifth in the series. With only 1861 bottles available, each adorned with artistic renderings of London’s iconic landmarks, this limited edition is as visually striking as it is flavorful. It is a masterful blend of nine casks, including Cognac, Oloroso sherry, and Chibidaru quarter casks, with the remainder from ex-bourbon barrels. The result is an aromatic bouquet of pear tart tatin, vanilla, toasted coconut, mango, and guava, leading to a palate rich in tropical fruit and incense spice.
