The second release of Rosebank single malt further solidified the distillery’s reverence, earning it the title of ‘The King of the Lowlands.’ This release features vintages from 1991, carefully aged for 31 years in a combination of ex-bourbon hogsheads and refill Sherry butts before being bottled in 2022.
NOSE
A vibrant citrus burst with lime zest and lemongrass mellowed by vanilla and candied almonds, alongside hints of coriander seed and clove.
PALATE
The palate offers the depth of a well-aged whisky yet remains light and vibrant, where mint and chamomile are complemented by rich notes of leather and banana bread.
FINISH
The finish sweetens with hints of peach, oak, and lingering herbal notes.
