The “Classic of Mountains and Seas Series” marks The Whiskyfind’s first major collection, inspired by the ancient Eastern text that documents rare wonders, including geographical customs, mythology, and more. Since 2016, Whiskyfind has selected ten themes from the book and sourced single cask whiskies from Scottish distilleries, carefully matching each whisky’s flavor profile to the themes. Each release features custom-designed labels, and after approval from the Scotch Whisky Association (SWA), the bottles are filled, labeled, and exported worldwide from Scotland.
The sixth release in The Classic of Mountains and Seas series, this blended whisky was distilled in 1977 and matured for 40 years in a sherry cask before being bottled in 2017. Limited to just 198 bottles, it was exclusively released for the Taiwan market.
