Tomatin’s venerable 36-year-old single malt is a vatting of whiskies matured in ex-Oloroso sherry and ex-bourbon casks, presented in a handsome wooden case. It has a surprising vibrancy for its age, though its maturity makes its presence known after some time, with the influence of the Oloroso sherry hints carrying through to both the palate and the finish.

NOSE

Vibrant, fruity, and floral nose, with tropical fruits intertwined with winter spices imparted by the Oloroso sherry casks.

PALATE

Initial fruity tones gradually unfold into oaky flavors, accompanied by notes of heather honey and roasted nuts.

FINISH

The depth of this whisky is revealed in its long finish with an inviting winter spice aftertaste.
