Launched in 1995, the 10-year-old became part of the distillery’s core lineup, maturing primarily in bourbon barrels which impart a fruity and floral character. Despite being well-regarded, it was eventually phased out in favor of the 12-year-old expression and officially discontinued around 2015, as Suntory faced stock shortages due to the soaring demand for Japanese whisky. This expression is also featured in the 1001 Whiskies You Must Try Before You Die book.
This is a set of Yamazaki 10-year-old whisky in 350ml and 180ml bottle sizes, offering a more accessible option for those seeking an affordable introduction to this renowned Japanese whisky.
