This is no ordinary Yamazaki; it’s a 10-year-old expression with the ‘Pure Malt’ statement on its green label. While the regular Yamazaki 10 is already discontinued and hard to find, this older Pure Malt variant is even rarer? produced before 1990 for the Japanese market and phased out shortly after 2002. It’s also worth noting that the 750ml bottling is the predecessor to the 700ml one, which was available only in Japan.
